Manufacturing & Customization
From technical heraldic artwork consultation to wire purl cutting, master hand needlework, and global export crating — a transparent, structured manufacturing process.
How Customers Work With Us
We ensure seamless cooperation for international procurement officers, military uniform suppliers, and apparel brands.
1. Share Your Design or Requirements
Day 1Provide your vector graphic, sketch, high-resolution photo, or existing physical badge. Let us know the required outer dimensions, estimated order quantity, and intended application (e.g. blazer pocket, officer cap, sleeve rank, or sash).
Supported file formats: PDF, AI, EPS, PNG, or high-res JPG. Even physical samples can be couriered to our factory.
2. Confirm Specifications & Materials
Days 1 – 2Our master embroiderers analyze the heraldic elements and propose the optimal combination of metallic wire coils (bright gold, antique gold, silver, check wire), base cloth (black/navy melton wool, velvet, twill), and backing attachments (sew-on border, clutch pins, or Velcro). We send a detailed written quotation with transparent unit costs and estimated delivery timelines.
3. Approve the Design or Physical Sample
Days 3 – 6Before committing to mass production, we produce a pre-production sample badge. We provide clear, high-resolution macro photography from multiple angles showing wire depth, relief, and stitching accuracy. If required, we can express-courier the physical sample badge for your in-person inspection.
4. Production & Quality Inspection
Days 7 – 18Upon sample sign-off, our skilled team executes the bulk order under supervisory control. Every badge undergoes continuous piece-by-piece inspection for uniform wire tension, dimensional fidelity, clean border trimming, and structural stiffness.
5. Packaging & Shipment Arrangements
Days 19 – 23Badges are individually packed in protective polybags with moisture-absorbing silica packets, boxed in sturdy export cartons, and dispatched via trusted air freight partners (DHL Express, FedEx, or standard air cargo). Full tracking codes and export customs invoices are provided immediately upon dispatch.
Metallic Bullion Wires & Purl Types
Different wire coil structures provide distinct optical luster, flexibility, and architectural texture.
Bright Smooth Bullion
A tightly wound smooth round wire coil that creates a continuous glossy, radiant sheen. Used for anchor flukes, crown arches, and shield borders.
Matte Textured Wire
Features a microscopic crinkled surface that diffuses light with a soft matte antique glow. Used in contrast alongside smooth purl for heraldic shading.
Faceted Diamond Wire
Square or triangular wire twisted during coiling to create angular facets that sparkle like fine jewelry under evening or ballroom illumination.
Fine Line Outlining Wire
Very fine coiled wire used to outline delicate motto scrolls, letter monograms, bird feathers, and fine crossed sword hilts with sharp definition.
Premium Base Fabrics for Every Uniform Standard
A bullion badge requires a firm, stable base fabric that supports the considerable weight of metallic coils without puckering, sagging, or fading.
Four Mounting Systems
Tailored for permanent garment attachment or removable convenience on luxury blazers.
Standard Sew-On Margin
A clean, hand-trimmed 3mm to 4mm perimeter felt lip that allows tailors to invisibly stitch the crest directly to a blazer breast pocket.
Military Clutch Pins
Two or three welded brass posts with butterfly clutch backs. Allows quick attachment to uniforms or removal before dry cleaning.
Dual Magnetic Plate
High-strength neodymium magnetic backing that holds badges firmly through heavy wool suits without puncturing delicate cashmere or silk fabric.
Velcro Hook & Loop
Heavy-duty hook backing perimeter-stitched to the badge. Ideal for tactical body armor, flight suits, and modern military uniform sleeves.
Artwork Guidelines for Buyers
To help us give you the most accurate quote and fastest sampling turnaround, here are helpful tips when sending your custom insignia artwork:
Dedicated Artisan Tooling & Equipment
Combining traditional timber slate frames with precision cutting apparatus and climate-controlled raw wire storage.
Timber Slate Frames
Traditional wooden tensioning trestles that hold Melton wool drum-tight, ensuring zero fabric wrinkling or thread distortion while wire is stitched.
Fine Curved Purl Shears
Micro-fine surgical-grade scissors honed specifically to cut hollow metallic wire spirals without pinching or crushing the hollow core.
Buckram Heat Seal Press
Precision temperature-regulated pneumatic presses that fuse multi-ply buckram backing to badges, delivering flat, rigid uniform posture.
Optical Caliper Benches
Digital vernier calipers and 10x illuminated magnifying loupes used by QC supervisors to verify symmetry, relief height, and outer tolerances.
Pre-Production Sampling & Prototype Protocol
We understand that institutional crests, military badges, and regimental uniform orders require zero tolerance for errors. To ensure total buyer satisfaction, we never begin bulk production without explicit sample sign-off.
